Background and Lived Experience

My path to clinical practice is informed by diverse career disciplines, somatic practices, and decades of community involvement. This background provides me with a grounded, practical perspective on human growth, focus, and authentic connection.

Diverse Career Background

Before completing my clinical training, I worked across several industries, including IT management, graphic design, and warehouse logistics. Navigating these varied environments taught me how complex systems function and deepened my appreciation for individual resilience. I bring this systemic, real-world problem-solving mindset directly into my therapeutic work.

Focus, Stillness, and Mindfulness

For many years, I worked as a life coach, taught instinctive archery, and assisted in teaching martial arts to youth and adults. These disciplines reinforced a core truth: stillness and focus are skills we build, not fixed traits we are born with. In therapy, I integrate this grounded discipline to help clients center themselves through anxiety, ADHD challenges, or relationship conflict by focusing on present-moment action.

30+ Years of Cultural Competency in Kink and ENM Communities

I have spent over three decades engaged with the kink, polyamorous, and consensually/ethically non-monogamous (CNM/ENM) communities. This long-standing involvement informs my deep commitment to non-judgmental, culturally competent care. Whether you are navigating ethical non-monogamy, complex intimacy dynamics, or unique relationship structures, I offer a safe space grounded in real-world understanding of boundary negotiation and open communication.
